At K.J. Mackenzie (Garve) Ltd we recognise that to provide a high quality service we must have procedures and processes in place to enable us to do this safely, efficiently and in a sustainable manner.
One of the first things we did back in 2017 was to become Achilles UVDB Verified, this involved an external audit of all systems and processes in place. We are proud to have achieved this accreditation within 5 weeks of beginning to trade and even prouder to have maintained it every year since, often with scores of 100% across all areas. (Health & Safety / Environmental Management / Quality / Sustainability).
There have been many changes since 2017 however the company has continued to demonstrate its commitment to operating in an environmentally aware manner by implementing new policies as and when required. In addition, we have an Environmental Management system in place and Katrina is an Associate Member of The Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP – formerly IEMA).
With annual external and internal audits being undertaken the company can ensure it remains up to date with the latest legislation and can put measures in place to adapt accordingly where required.
